Does this program works with the mA1, can I record with it, via the onboard audio in?

I have used this with FLAC output a few times. Two times it has resulted in corrupt sound. As I'm typing this, I have the idea to try sox -x. So that's confirmed: the endianness gets swapped somehow. I tried to reproduce it by recording in AIFF 24-bit, WAVE 16-bit, WAVE 24-bit and FLAC again, but couldn't. I used FM801:Hifi 16 bit stero++ at 44 or 48 kHz in all cases, 48 in at least the latter swap hit.

Sorry, the previous version had a compression level of 5 hardcoded into the executable.

Now you can set it via the COMPLEVEL tooltype and its default is 8 (highest possible). If your CPU is fast enough I recommend leaving it at 8. A Sam440 can easily do it but a CyberstormPPC is already at its limit.

Argh, sorry! Packed the wrong executable into the archive. I've corrected it and
replaced it.
