===== Introduction ========

This is the experimental version of Qt v.4.6.2 for Amicygnix.

This is the user archive. This archive contains the libraries
required to run Qt apps under AmiCygnix on AmigaOS 4. If you
intend to develop software using Qt, you should download the
qt-amicygnix-sdk package instead.

NB: Qt comes with a set of experimental shared library versions
of the x windows libraries. Once an official version of these
shared libraries are released, you should delete these 
experimental versions.

For things still missing, see the MISSING STUFF section below.

If you get it working, I would appreciate if you send me an
email! Similarly if it for some reason doesn't work out for you.

======= INSTALLATION =========


1) unpack the whole package to wherever you like.

2) add the following lines to your s:user-startup:
	
	;BEGIN qt
	assign qt: <your path>/qt-amicygnix-user-4.6.2
	assign sobjs: sys:sobjs
	assign sobjs: qt:lib ADD
	;END qt

3) reboot your machine

... and you're set!

QtCore:
	QFileSystemWatcher is a stub
	QProcess is a stub

QtNetwork:
	SSL support is experimental

phonon:
	compiles, but with no working backend

Sql:
	only the sqlite driver works

WebKit:
	still some random crashes and
	javascript is very slow at times

OpenGL:
	nocando, suggerbabe

QtScript:
	not supported at the moment

General:
	the alt key is not recognized
	this is a problem with the x server
