@kas1e Being cross developemnt doesn't help to explain it. And slight flaw with your Google is that OS4 has no relation to Nokia so that doesn't describe what Nokia has done. A simple one liner in the read like "A GUI toolkit developed by Nokia" would suffuce. Seems we are missing a "What is?" field here on the depot. I'm still wondering how a mobile company has any relevance to a dekstop OS. Wait, OS4 is at the level of a Nokia phone now, that mus tbe it. ;-)

This is all very nice but what is it? The most info is Nokia being the author of something called Qt. Is it a Nokia phone emulator for running Nokia apps? If you see my point. The info about warnings and what not in the readme help even less. ;-)

@djrikky After install you need to reboot, to make assigns works. Also you need libintl.so as well, and in end of all, QT based on opengl and will not works without.

Hi Alf, I installed this as per the Installer, everything is in place, the assigns and what not in the user-startup. But when I try load anything Elf Library pops up saying it cannot find any of the SO libraries. Assign entry: SOBJS OS4.1:SObjs + WORK:Home Directory/Application Files/Qt-4.7/lib

It's great that you are porting Qt to AmigaOS 4. This will make it possible for me to start developing for the Amiga again after almost ten years. Just a small note. You should fix this in the package information: > Author: Trolltech, port by Alfkil Wennermark Qt is owned and developed by Nokia, not Trolltech. Trolltech does not exist anymore because Nokia did buy Qt and Trolltech in 2008.

Also remember to add plenty of stack space, 2.000.000 or more.

libintl.so is easy enough to make by compiling the first portion of gettext which only takes a couple of minutes. Compiling the rest of gettext is the challenge. Whether using that libintl.so with qt-user will work or not, I don't know.
