@cha05e90

The catalogs are available separately. There's french, german, greek,italian,spanish and swedish catalogs available here on os4depot.

The "Catalogs" drawer is missing. Further on Filer seems to suffer under the lately introduced infamous "ClickToFront" bug (means: it doesn't work with Filer windows).

Thanks for fixing the bug with column headers.
Would be nice to see an arexx interface someday.

Will be not bad to release a sources on some kind of SVN. Someone can continue work, or at least use some parts from to improve dopus5 lately.

I've been using filer for a while with no problems, however last night and tonight I've had major lock-ups when downloading a file with IBrowse and a filer lister open on my dl directory (which is on an SFS partition). They occured just as IBrowse finished downloading a file (or I aborted a download)

And I mean *major* lock-ups. Of the three I've experienced over the past 2 days, 2 of them my A1 wouldn't reboot. It got to the OS 4.1 splash screen and WB didn't load. I had to boot off CD and then reboot.

I'm using 4.1 update 2. Can anyone else recreate this?

Seems the version of wget I had the wrong version of wget installed, got OS4 version from Aminet and works a treat now and can access OS4Depot through filer, cool.

An excellent file manager with plenty of options for you to tweak it to your own taste. Read the readme to get the most out of Filer, particularly nice when used in conjunction with ContextMenus. I've tried getting the OS4Depot function to work but keep getting message 'wget not executable', even though I have installed wget in C:, any ideas?

When SRec is recording there is no possible open lister by double click. Can you check this, please?

Very nice alpha release. Looking very good although I do have one problem.
I think the button "Set Source" and "Set Destination" needs changing, they'd be better just saying what the window is rather than what it isn't.

At a quick glance I ignore the word set and just see a lister label as source and another lister labelled as destination then have to stop and think that they're the other way round. Making the average 'end user' think is not a good idea, they get very grumpy... ;-)

@anonymous (195.14.220.243)

That seems very odd. Can you post any crash log on crashlog.os4depot.net? Please also describe your system details so I can find out what it is that goes wrong on your system. It's been tested on 4.0, 4.1 Sam, 4.1 Pegasos, 4.1 A1 XE and 4.1 betas without problems.

This is not the "Filer" from Mathias Scheler, just only used the same Name is not very lucky !

Here this tool list only the "Root" and nothing else, show to be frozed then.

Hi, Thanks.
Just what we need. A simple file tool... Complex dual branch views & compare? I can wait.

This file manager looks very promising.

As soon as it gets a right and left lister it gets very close to replacing ClassAction.
