wildmidi.cfg didnt make it into the archive...I'll upload yet another fixed archive when i get back home. 
 
you can try to point the .cfg file to freepats/crude.cfg as a temporary workaround

Yeah, probably more of such problems. 
Maybe the background lock coming from the pd menu locks the shell/cli as well. 
 
Not sure if there can be done anything about it. 
You are free to add a bug item to the github page of wildmidi
