The plans for porting the latest 1.6 version are there for ages, but as usual the best plan doesn't help much if there's not enough time to realize it :-/

Until then, we'll have to live with the current 1.1.4 port.

But is there any plan to update it to newer subversion ? Version 1.1.4 starts to be quite old now.

Just tried to use svn with alocal repository.

I found I need to set a stack of at least 1000000 with SVN_STACK_SIZE or the svn
client would lock the system when using file:// urls.

I found that svn would stall when used with svnserve and svn:// urls. Only the
prgrams stalled in this case and ^C would release them.
