Yes, I did. I even tried 
 
sys:locale/catalogs/german/Amilineate 
 
Of course I did a reset after every test - just to make sure -

Have you tested to copy amilineate.catalogue in sys:local/catalogs/german

doesn't work? copied it to LOCALE: + into Amilineate dir and Amilineate/catalogs dir... also tried Amilineate/catalogs/german* .As I am set to german locale. However wouldn't mind to have Amilineate in english.
