This is the best version of GrafX2 for AmigaOS4. Runs very smoothly on my X5000/20. Thanks for the update. Very happy! Excellent work!

I also experienced the same problem as you that the config could not be saved. Downloaded the GIT version, so the GIT version should work, according to Kas1e.

Check the original version from github. It works there.
https://github.com/smarkusg/GrafX2/releases/download/24072024/grafx2-2.9_git.lha
It is possible that the package on os4depot has some files from older versions.

This is a really great Open Source 256 color bitmap paint program that certainly can be improved greatly, getting closer to DPaint and PPaint in comparison. A great paint program that is worth a great update. Keep up the excellent work.

Otherwise, it's a great program.

Did you try to press on volume button, to have choice need it path ? By default you are in the current directory only, and to open any file you need to use volume button (design of programm)

And it seems to have problems on SFS and JXFS-Partitions opening Files.

For me it works with SFS. Didn't try with JXFS , but one user also report that he can't load files from JFS.

But alas, I used to have exactly the same behaviour from NetSurf and one or two other programs...

What, and go back to the bad old days of every SDL port having a different
version of SDL built in? No thanks.

Shared objects work great for most people, as long as you're using the latest
version of OS4.0 or 4.1.

For grafx2, just make sure you have the following shared objects installed:

libSDL-1.2.so
libSDL_image-1.2.so
libpng12.so
libjpeg.so
libz.so
libgcc.so
libc.so

the program works). There is nothing to be gained with the shared objects except

additional problems.
