They could even be done completely PPC and erase all bottleneck from the 68k version. You also need latest TheMaestrix AHI tool to be able to get audio from OctaMED SoundStudio v1.03c under an AmigaOS4 system.

If you only have. I hardly notice any problem and the thing is that these MED libs from OS4Depot are the ONLY most OS4-compatible libs to use OctaMED SoundStudio. Although, this is something that has to be tested further. To compare the OS4-compilant version of these libraries with the original libraries you find on Aminet. Compare them in playback and quality. Also remember that the nature of the Mixing routines in OctaMED SoundStudio certainly have its drawbacks, too. I run a SAM460ex under AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition Update 2 Hotfix.

The quality is very poor. I have Amiga 1200 with OS4.0 and latest AHI device. Does someone have similiar problem?
