Both the 1.7 version of the Installer for Base and Tools are not working from the uploaded archive. Download seems to fail, which is strange, but you mentioned you found a problem with your installer script. Can you upload the working ones?

once I get AmiCygnix from the base file installed, it seems to work just fine. So I go to run the install for AmiCynix-Tools and it always locks up at 35% - "Initializing MIME default applications" - it just sits there. No DSI, input devices work, but ESC doesn't abort and the CPU seems to be at 100% because I can't do anything else.
