iPodDisk is an application to access your mp3 collection on your iPod using
from a Amiga OS4 computer with usb.

iPodDisk is written in C and doesn't have any user interface. Instead it creates
a new device and volume, so you can access it through Workbench, Shell or
Dialogs
of Programs, even drag and drop should work.

INSTALLATION:

Copy the iPodDisk programm wherevere you like.

PREPARING TOUR IPOD:

Sour iPod must be formated for using under windows, else the Amiga OS4 usb stack
wont
recorgnice your ipod and show up on your workbench. Furthermore under iTunes
under
Mac OS X or Windows your iPod need to be prepared for file usage.

Your ipod still requires the apple firmware etc this pogram only handles
copying of
music file from the ipod.

USAGE:

The programm can only be started from a shell. It needs as parameter the usb
drive where
the Amiga OS4 usb stack mounted your iPod. If you haven't any usb mass storage
drives, except
from your iPod, it will normally appear as USB0: So to start iPodDisk enter the
follwoing in
a shell:

iPodDisk USB0:

because it is an early version alot of debug statemenst are given out, which
slow down the
usage. Thus a redirect of the output would be smart. The ouput than can be used
to report
bugs at maxlarsson()gmx.de.
