Requirements:

 - AmigaOS4.1
 - Hardware compositing
 - avi.library >= 52.1 (for AVI output)
 - xvidcore.library >= 52.1 (for XviD codec)
 - jpeg.library >= 6.1 (for MJPG codec)
 - z.library >= 50.0 (for ZMBV codec)

Installation:

Drag and drop SRec into SYS:WBStartup (or somewhere else if you don't want SRec
to run every time your computer starts).

Configure SRec by editing it's tooltypes.

Set the CX_POPUP tooltype to yes if you want SRec to open it's GUI on startup
(suggested if you didn't install SRec in WBStartup).

Supported video codecs are: mjpg/mjpeg, rgb and xvid
Supported audio codecs are: none (no audio) and pcm

Usage:

Make sure a filename is selected in the GUI.

To start recording either:

A) Bring up SRec's GUI by either using it's configured CX_POPKEY or double-
   clicking on the program's icon and press the "Record" button.

B) If you have configured a "RECORDKEY" (SRec tooltypes) you can use this to
   start recording without using the GUI (you need to have an output file
   selected though).
   
To stop recording:

A) Press the "Stop" button in the GUI.

B) If you have configured a "STOPKEY" you can use this to stop recording,
   otherwise you can use the "RECORDKEY". Note that if you want the same key
   combination to both start and stop recording then configure the "RECORDKEY"
   but leave the "STOPKEY" disabled.

Recording audio:

Connect your Amiga's audio out to an audio in (f.e. mic in). Make sure that the
unit 0 "Input" setting in Prefs/AHI is set to "mic in" or whichever audio input
port you used. Mute the input port in Mixer (unfortunately this seems to reset
itself every once in a while so you may have to unmute and mute it again).
