Short description: ------------------- Native GLES 3.0 demoscene showcase running on Mesa/mesa.library. Description: ------------------- Mesa Showcase Demo is a demoscene-style showcase running fully native and hardware-accelerated on AmigaOS4.1 - video and audio, no emulator, nothing borrowed. It runs entirely through mesa.library - no ogles2.library, no warp3dnova.library, no GL4ES - genuine OpenGL ES 3.0 shaders, native on the Amiga. Six handwritten GLSL ES 3.00 fragment-shader scenes are choreographed against a music track, with smooth crossfade transitions, a beat-synced pulse, a live FPS counter, and a scrolling credits line: 1. Tunnel Drift - a raymarched tunnel flythrough with a weaving, rolling camera and Fresnel-based rim glow. 2. Nova Core - a dense, glowing plasma-energy core built from layered fractal noise, with a hot, saturated colour palette. 3. Liquid Chrome - raymarched metaballs fusing and separating in real time, with a procedural chrome-like reflection. 4. Prism Bloom - a kaleidoscopic, domain-folded fractal pattern that rotates and blooms outward. 5. Crystal Fracture - a raymarched cluster of fractured 3D crystal shards, catching light with Fresnel-based glints. 6. Sign-Off - a raymarched signed-distance-field logo reveal that closes the show. None of this would exist without kas1e's Mesa port for AmigaOS4.1. Reverse-engineering A-EON's RadeonRX/RadeonHD drivers to build Mesa's winsys bridge, and bringing OpenGL up to 4.6 and OpenGL ES up to 3.2 to a platform that never had real hardware-accelerated Mesa before, is a massive amount of work. This demo exists purely to show what that port can do. Huge thanks, kas1e! Requirements: - AmigaOS 4.1 (Final Edition / Update) - Mesa (mesa.library) installed - A supported RadeonRX / RadeonHD graphics card Installation: - Copy the whole drawer to your hard drive. - Double-click the demo icon to run - the music is loaded relative to the program's own directory, so no path setup or shell/cd is required. Music: - Track by NastelBom, downloaded from Pixabay (https://pixabay.com/de/music/search/youtube%20intro/), used under the Pixabay Content License. See CREDITS.guide for full details.
