  E - DEPARTURE
  AmigaOS4 port (c) kas1e
  =======================

  ABOUT
  -----

E - Departure is another 64 kB intro created by the French demoscene group
Ctrl-Alt-Test. The released intro is actually only about 38 kB in size.

The intro was released in December 2010 and presented at The Ultimate
Meeting 2010, where it placed fourth in the 64 kB intro competition.

Original credits are Pierre "Cyborg Jeff" Martin (music), Julien "Zavie"
Guertault (code), and Laurent "LLB" Le Brun (code).

  AMIGAOS4 PORT
  -------------

The port retains the original desktop OpenGL renderer, both MRT colour
attachments, the velocity buffer, glow, and motion-blur passes.

All 55 original vertex and fragment shaders are embedded byte-for-byte.

The OS4 executable uses SDL2 (statically linked into the binary) with Mesa
and requests an OpenGL 3.3 compatibility-profile context. Its Win32 window,
input, timing, audio, and font code was replaced with portable versions,
together with the required PowerPC big-endian fixes.

The original "telescope.v2m" soundtrack is embedded and rendered live by
the portable V2 synthesizer through SDL2. The TrueType font is embedded
too, so no external data files are required. If SDL2 cannot initialize
audio, the intro continues without sound.

And, you can see the FPS in the window title when running in windowed mode.

  COMMAND-LINE OPTIONS
  --------------------

  Usage:

      Departure [options]

  Options:

      --windowed
      --window
      --win
Start in a window. Fullscreen desktop mode is used by default.

      --width N
Set the startup and internal rendering width.
          Default: 1280

      --height N
Set the startup and internal rendering height.
          Default: 720

      --motionblur_disable
Use the final pass without motion blur.

      --mrt_disable
          Disable the velocity-buffer MRT path.

      --help
      -h
Display the command-line help and exit.

The two diagnostic options can be used independently or together. Without
them, the complete original desktop OpenGL rendering path remains enabled.

  RUNTIME CONTROLS
  ----------------

      Alt+Enter / Left mouse-button dbl-click
          Toggle fullscreen and windowed modes.

      Escape
          Exit the intro.
