Great Work... the FLAC files sound perfect!

Please be warned that the currently uploaded version 1.3.0 of FLAC (both the library and the exe) is seriously broken. Do not use until fixed/re-uploaded - stick to the 1.2.1 release (e-mail Fredrik if you don't have it).

DAplayer(68k/OS4) can also play Flac-Files.

Oops! Yes, it's probably the same with flac command, it's the songs that are made with a higher precision than 16-bit (hence the higher bitrate). So the aforementioned problem likely translates to AmigaAmp playing them as if they were 16-bit samples.

Does this happen if you decode the files to .wav with flac command as well? If not then it's a bug in AmigaAmp.

BTW I have compiled shared object versions of flac libs and tools that you can download here:

Seems to have a problem. I have some FLAC files, all without Ogg container. Some are with 772 (1411 in AmigaAmp) kbps rate, some 1063 (2116) kbps. AmigaAmp can't play the latter set properly, but spews noise either from the beginning or after a moment, ca. 0.8 seconds. mplayer suffers from same, so it may be a library bug. Although one older mplayer plays all ok.

How is this installed? There doesn't seem to be any Amiga specific
documentation.

@Lio
Yes I wrote a TN plugin that plays FLAC files. ;-)

@Lio
I think there is a TuneNet plug in that supports FLAC.

very nice and is there a FLAC player for OS4 ?
AFAIK there is none and for 68k only playOGG might do the job
