Good Kas1e now with the Workbench at 32bit works. Thanks

That because you run on 16 bit screenmode. Use 32bit one.

with my Sam460cr and RadeonHD 7750 (Enancher Software standard radeonHD.chip drivers) it doesn't work, it returns the message "could not retrive window surface: unknown pixel format". Do I have to set any particular parameter in the Config?

Many thanks for this!

The new DosBox update is great! Using SDL2 and now a native PPC JIT, making it 3 times faster! Runs smooth even on a SAM460ex! Thanks!

It has been very silent since the last time DOSBox was updated to version 0.74.

Is it possible to add support for Infamous Adventures REMAKE versions of games like Space Quest 2 VGA Remake and King Quest 3 VGA Remake, and make DOSBox even faster, if possible? Would be very nice :) And perhaps an update of RunInDOSBox as well? :)

Mounting CD filesystems requires a little workaround (I don't know if somebody ever adapted that for Amiga). If the filesystem is flat, completely without directories, I don't know how it'd work, but otherwise you can do something like this:

mount d cd0:dir// -t cdrom -usecd 0

-usecd is not necessary for rudimentary file access.

0,73a work ok on my Sam 800Mhz, but its terrible slow, to play decently Mortal Kombat 1 for example I need to toggle all the details but it is always slow like a real 386 :-/

For information, the version 0.72 is not able to install Win 3.1 (due to a bug) but it works if it was previously installed with another system (Linux for example, in my case).

Has someone gotten GUS emulation (plain output, not MIDI) to work? It seems to
be broken in this build as it doesn't set the gusbase variable properly.

Hi Spot ! Why not OpenGL ? Because I didn't have a look at this feature in
DosBox. configure detects OpenGL and then some libs are linked too. But I am not
sure it's used.
As far as I see, the slowdown comes from the CPU emulation.
My pactches are not lost and maybe I will try again to improve it. At the
moment, it was important to share this vanilla version.

out of curiousity, why no opengl, isn't opengl 1.5 up for it?
if that's so, opengl 2.0 should improve speed greatly once it is released i
guess.

What happened to your speed patches? Ditched?

This version seems to bring down Workbench and doesn't quit properly.

Now I know how to avoid the Grim Reaper on exit that I usually got: while it
says "2axis is the default and supports two joysticks." in the config,
this doesn't work here. At least one game found no joystick when one controller
was inserted, but finds one when two are (GR on Dosbox exit, then). Perhaps it's
a typo somewhere.

@spot

make sure you have set the soundrates in the config file same as in your AHI
settings, this should atleast improve the stuttering..the rest is up to the cpu
:P

set cycles to get better speed, kyrandia 2 works good with 1000 cycles.

also remeber...alot of frameskip can make the game slower too :)

Eye of the Beholder 3 runs.
Betrayal at Krondor runs.
Like what was said-We could just do with a little turn of speed and it
would be great for all them games in the yesteryear we were jealous of not
making it to our beloved platform.
