The current version uses requesters instead of alerts now...

It might be helpful to use http://aminet.net/util/misc/alpatch.lha to turn these alerts into requesters.

Sorry, we have instigated a policy of no longer bothering to work around these kinds of stupid OS4 bugs. The function autodocs clearly state that the alert is satisfied by a mousebutton click. So it is definitely OS4 at fault.

I have, they don't want to fix the problem. it's not just the sam, it's any machine where you use usb and/or synergyc

Alerts can't be closed on a SAM!? This is not an Africa-specific issue. You should report this to the OS4 developer team.

I don't have OpenURL.library on my system because OS4.1u1 introduced a system level replacemnet for it and africa throws up an alert to tell me this... The big problem is that alerts CANNOT BE CLOSED on a Sam. they can only be closed on a ps/2 interface. please replace the alert calls with standard requesters.
