I downloaded and installed the game on my Windows box then transfered over all the files. The game starts and I can start to load a track then it hangs...

I haven't done it yet, but it looks like you need to download the src-base archive (or download the Windows version and install it) for version 2.0 and copy the data files into PROGDIR:data.

And ? How are we supposed to play this game ?
A simple explanation for the installation would have been a nice addition.
Not usable for the most of us.
