PNG 2 Amiga it's a program used to convert PNG icons to Amia format.

PNG icons is quite popular, as you can use normal programs to draw icons, 
without having a special icon editor, and also quite popular on other 
operating systems like Linux. PNG has also good compression 
which makes them ideal for icons on the most platforms, but on AmigaOS4.x, 
It was decided that we must have some special format.

Sure there are plugins for PNG, for AmigaOS 4 but it's not included in the
installation, 
many people make Hollywood programs that sometimes include PNG icons, 
this is inconvenient. There was a program called Pngicon2amiga by Steven Solie, 
source code was not available to this program, and he didn't respond when 
I asked for it in the chat, as a result I've written a program from scratch 
and no code from his project was ever used. I used ChatGPT to help me 
produce the code as quickly as possible to not waste time on our duplicating
the effort of figuring out everything from scratch.

Due to recent events in the community where certain Amiga dealerships, take 
open source code and rebrand and steal their copyrights, I have decided to not
distribute the source code as well, even though I wasn't personally affected by
this in the behavior I think finding it distasteful.

This software is copyrighted to me, Kjetil Hvalstrand, I have full legal
ownership
of this project, the end user license for this software is goes as follows.

You may not copy it this software and distributed to others than yourself.

You may not sell this software to anyone, you're not allowed to repackage
or packages software with or bundled with other software to make a profit
of a collection, including my software. 

You may not repackage the software, and include mallware, or spyware.

The only place that may legally distribute my software is OS4Depot.net,
that does it for free. 

You may donate to OS4Depot.net to keep the Servers running, and pay
for the domain, and as a thanks to keep their service over the years..

This program provides an easy way to convert to PNG icons, 
program support drag and drop, if it runs from workbench. 

The program also supports running from shell and the program will convert
icons recursively on multiple directories, if it figures out the icon belongs to
a directory. 
Program will try its best to guess the correct type for the icon file, 
this means if there is a file with a executable attribute it will assume it a
program, 
if the file has a script attribute, that will assume it's a scripts, certain
keywords might, 
decide which type of icon it becomes, or certain file extensions.
