I use that version for play some xm modules (in demos), and demos works without crashes. Maybe its related to pygame itself ? (like some wrong code which handle the music parts => cause a crash in sdl_mixer)

pygame crashes when trying to play xm tunes.
sdl_mixer has an internal modified version of libmikmod i believe,
and should not be linked with libmikmod.so.
