@jabirulo
It all works now, and yes i wouldn't need the language catalogs. I have my WB in english :) Thank your for the help :)

-"Can't load XML settings of the DateTime.docky" IIRC it means that there is no XML file ('DateTime.docky.xml' is were Reminders data are stored) on path were you started 'DateTime.docky'.
-Catalogs are only usefull if you have your WB in italian or spanish.

I got it working by RMB over the docky, and the Contex Menu showed up with "Reminders". From there the error showed up, but got into the menu where i could save it and create a new XML, and now it works as supposed to :)

I tried to install the latest version 52.10, the one that is on the upload section. I copied the 2 languages to SYS:Locate/Catalogs in both Spain and Italian catalogs there. The main DateTime.docky is in SYS:Dockies with the settings i'm always used to.

However, there was an error showing "Can't load XML settings of the DateTime.docky". I wonder what that means. I'm sticking with version 52.9 until you can fix this problem.

MyDays window:

-RMB menu option 'MyDays...' to show/modify "special" days (reminder).

-ADD entry:
1)Choose MONTH and insert DAY
2)Enter whatever TEXT you want in the stringgadget (not mandatory)
3)Click on [+] to ADD entry
4)Click on [Save] button or you will loose data added
When MONTH & DAY matches present month and day, docky changes to MYDAYSCOLOR.
If you entered some TEXT and mouse pointer is over datetime.docky it will
popup a small window (reminder) with TEXT and stay REMIND_TIME seconds.
-REMOVE entry:
1)Select it and click on [-]
2)Click on [Save] button or you will loose any modification

If you entered some TEXT when MONTH&DAY matches month and day :-)
datetime.docky will change color (MYDAYSCOLOR) and if mouse pointer pass over
datetime.docky it will popup a small window (reminder) with TEXT and stay
REMIND_TIME seconds.

To remove entry select it and click on [-]

You can use keyboard (cursor Up/Down, TAB and ENTER) on MyDays window.

Nice new additions, i especially love the LINES option :-)

Could you maybe specify how to use the "MyDays" function, please?
I'm either too stubborn to understand the readme or i'm missing some vital information

AFAIK datetime.docky doesn't use own catalog, it uses AmiDock.catalog and <country>.language

great and useful docky! Since the "horizontal" tooltype addition it replaced the one I had before. Thanks! :-) a small little enhancement request: Would it be possible to add a tooltype to configure the position of date and time? as it is now, in horizontal mode I set it to display "HH:MM:SS YYYY-MM-DD"
I would like it to display "YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS"

@all
If I can find howto add 'Time prefs' on single/double click I'll add it ASAP.
Coming soon V52.7:
LINES=<n> - 1=only clock; 2=clock+date; Other value=clock+date+week (default)
HORIZONTAL - changes to an horizontal layout instead of vertical/rows (default)
HORIZGAP=<n> - adjusts space between clock-date-week (default=10)

Care to read the readme?
How about using the TEXTCOLOR - RGB of colour used for text (ffffff) tooltype?

@gtmooya

Absolutely second

Thanks for updating, was using DigiClock alongside my tray dock before so is nice to be able to have time within the dock.

Would be nice to have an action when you double click the docky, e.g. open Time Prefs.

Thanks.

I was using datetime.docky with AmigaOS 4.0 July 2007 Update. Very nice.

Gave it a try for first time with AmigaOS 4.1 and seems to work ok. I was
wondering if I can change the colour of the font because it almost disappears
against the cloud background in my Workbench.

Thanks for this docky.

@RacerX

Thanks. Suggestions noted :-).

@anonymous

You should be getting something similar to this:
http://os4depot.net/?function=modules/snapshot/display&fileid=2629

If it's still not working for you with the new version (v52.2), maybe you can
send me a screen grab of the docky display area (using f.e. SGrab)?

Nice. A couple of suggestions:

1) Make an option for 12-hour format

2) An option for Month-Day-Year format
