Still nothing :-(
The error window pops up on double-click, but adding or dragging to AmiDock
doesn't do anything, not even the error window comes up...

Dragging(or adding a docky) dont produce anything on AmiDock...
maybe you have a different AmiDock version?
developer? beta-tester?

try and set +e protection bit
and then add it via the gui.
I can't reproduce the error here.

Doesnt work as it doesn't seem to do anything when dragged on AmiDock
No docky icon is added, no error message is given, playin nothing
