Unsolicited idea, option to use AmigaDOS or regexp pattern matching in the search.

a real classic gem for nextgen-amigas - thank you very much!

The first thing is actually being able to use it for 5 minutes without getting a DSI. Try marking a lot of text and see for yourself.

Mouse scrolling, of course would be nice. But also nice would be if page up/down keys and home/end keys could work. I use Multiview (and not the new Multiviewer) because page up/down keys work in that. Thanks for the program! These are my suggestions for improvement.

As an avid supporter of your util, why haven't you tried to implement mouse scrolling? in 2016 this is unforgiven.

GR and system lock up here. Deleting the plugins didn't help.

Tried it yet again as I have been doing throughout it's development and, surprise surprise, yet another version that crashed within a minute. this time all I did was try to change the font from the tiny helvetica/13 to dejavu sans condensed/18 and boom...

Could you add support for AmiUpdate, perhaps please?

Downloaded v0.85, extracted it to RAM, opened evenmore, entered a word in the search string gadget, hit <Return> and evenmore crashed with a Grim Reaper. Not very useful at this point.
System: Amiga X1000 with OS4.1FE & 2GB memory

Thank you for this version. No needed to delete any plugins. One question: on an old 68k version, there was the possibility to change the skin. Is it planned ?

Thanks for the feedback. Could be old plugins causing that crashing. Make sure you replace all the plugins with the new ones as well as the executable if you have a previous version installed. Other than that, could be old libraries to blame.

Tested new version from http://evenmore.co.uk/downloads/EvenMore_OS4.lha and works fine now (NOTE: remove xpk, powerpacker and troff2text plugins or it will crash/GR).
Great update!!!!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. The OS4 version was untested, as I only have OS3 and MorphOS here. But I have got OS4.1 for Christmas so hopefully this will help me solve the bugs and I won't have to rely on faith that it will work! :)

I doubt it, he's a christian, he relies on faith that it'll work ;)

It's probably trying to hit hardware that no longer exists or he's just doing an OS4 compile of the OS3 source without any changes and preying it'll work...

Still KO for me.
Is the uploader tested it under OS4 ?

Testing with snoopy it gets as far as opening keymap.library.

I tried it in the hopes of eventually getting a version that actually worked. In the past I've tried it on my A4000/060 and it never worked, one or two versions let me open a document before crashing but mostly it has always crashed before opening it's window.

OS4 version has a drawer icon for the program which suggests the dev has never started it from workbench so must call it from shell or a filemanager.

Same here. And even changing type of icon, it doesn't work.
