Selecting a group of icons in Workbench has never been this easy and fast. In
Workbench, open the disk or drawer where you would like to select icons, press a
hot key, enter a search pattern and select the target to which the pattern is
applied. PowerSelect will select all icons which match your criteria.

Need to select files from several disks or drawers? No problem. Open the disks
and drawers where you would like to select files. Activate the first disk/drawer
window (click the window title), make a PowerSelect, activate the second window,
make a PowerSelect, third, fourth, and up to until the last window.

Using mouse, selecting specific files (JPG image files, project files, files
starting with letter a, files created on a certain day, etc.) among other files
was a daunting task and could take minutes, while PowerSelect selects the files
for you in seconds.
