Ok. Problem solved. I had filenames with spaces so I had to change to "%s" in the tooltype. Thanks.

Very cool program.    Could it be modified a bit so that it could be used through DefIcons with  certain file types even when the file itself does not have an icon saved to it?

Sorry, that should have been backdropicons. I confused myself while writing that  I suppose. Check utility/workbench/backdropicons.lha
