Alright, radio search works, I just happened to try some things that didn't have hits.

The Twitch streaming functionality works but it's unfortunate mplayer doesn't work. For performance reasons it would be nicer than ffplay.

Youtube (vod) works, radio (tried searching for stations) did not work. No error message.

Hello and thanks for aiostreams! I like it to use with youtube (context menu in odyssey) but i have some issues with some videos.

It seems to be an encoding/utf-8 issue (just an idea).

Here is a sample video that does not work:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeEhDH6x9Pc

Here is the shell output with the errors:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "work:Programme/aiostreams/youtube.py", line 349, in <module>
main(sys.argv[1:])
File "work:Programme/aiostreams/youtube.py", line 290, in main
print response['playabilityStatus']['reason']
UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'xfc' in position 16: ordinal not in range(128)

Many thanks for looking into this issue!

For the next release is it possible to add support for sport247 live video portal?
