Sounded interesting but when I tried it opened up as VGA mode and then couldn't find a BMP. It crashed shortly after.

Three things.
1.) Do you use BestModeID() ?
2.) Do you check your pointers? ;-)
3.) What's with the AmigaBASIC looking window that comes up? And what's with you an your JZ assigns? Simplify it man and USE PROGDIR:, that's what's there for. Games should be simple.
